PAINESVILLE, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers Women's Lacrosse team continued their Great Midwest slate with a 22-1 rout over the Lake Erie Storm on Friday night. Walsh scored 14 goals in the first half and led 14-1 at the half. In the second half, the Cavaliers would score eight straight goals to dominate the Storm, 22-1. The Cavaliers improve to 8-2 overall and 2-0 in the G-MAC. Walsh has now won eight straight games in a row!

FOR THE CAVALIERS

• Rachel Black led the Cavaliers with five goals.

• Isabella Kelty totaled eight points on the day with two goals and six assists. 

• Chloe Tatlow scored twice and assisted on three other goals for a five-point day. 

• Melinda Maers, Kaytlyn Tokar, Sequoia DeLeu, and Kathleen Coomes each scored twice. 

• Grace King, Mallory Miller, Grace Santee, Sidney Klinger, and Aneya Schvartz all scored one goal each. 

• The Cavaliers picked up 15 ground balls. 

• Kathleen Mendenhall had two saves and Rebekah Bargeron had one save. Each had 30 minutes at goal.  

The Walsh Cavaliers return to Larry Staudt Field on Tuesday, April 4th, to host the Dragons of Tiffin University for a G-MAC match up for 4pm EST.
