NORTH CANTON AND COLUMBUS,OH: With the small Easter break, it had almost been two weeks since the Maroon and Gold of Cavalier Softball took the field. The small break proved to not be a big problem as the Cavs swept the Arrows of Ursuline College on Saturday, April 15th. In both contests vs the Arrows, the Cavs capitalized on errors to secure the wins. 
On Tuesday, April 18th, the team took a road trip to the states capital to face, conference leading, Ohio Dominican University. Unfortunately, the Panthers took the series vs Walsh but the Cavs were in it, especially in game two, holding a 3-1 lead at one point. 
The Cavs are currently set for a busy weekend with road doubleheaders vs Ashland and Findlay and a home double header vs Malone. Due to the threat of potential weather, the schedule may change.

FOR THE CAVS VS URSULINE GAME 1

• The Cavs scored three runs on just three hits. 
• Notching the hits for Walsh were Kalin Kovach, McKenna Voiers, Riley Grimm. 
• The Riley Grimm double scored two runs which was the difference maker for the Cavs. 

FOR THE CAVS VS URSULINE GAME 2

• Sydney McKeever led the Cavs with three hits. She also had two stolen bases. 
• Kalin Kovach and Hannah Pfundt each had two doubles. Laney Ferrance added a double and triple. 
• Olivia Betson got the win for the Maroon and Gold. She pitched 2.2 innings. 
• Sarah Cantley pitched in relief. She went 3.1 innings, only allowing one hit. 

FOR THE CAVS VS ODU GAME 1

• Sydney McKeever had two hits and the lone RBI for the team. 
• McKenna Voiers had a double in the contest. 

FOR THE CAVS VS ODU GAME 2

• Sarah Cantley was 2/2 with a walk and an RBI.
• Kaylee Noltee was 1/3 with two RBI's.
• Leah Musall added a hit in the game.
