ERIE, PA: After playing in the cold, wind, and rain, the Men's Lacrosse team finally had ideal conditions to compete in. They had a tough task coming in as Mercyhurst is 7-1 and a top program in the conference and currently ranked third in the country. The Cavalier defense played tough, holding the home team to five goals or under in each quarter. The offense could never quite get anything to connect with the goal. The Cavs had a total of 21 total shots compared to Mercyhurst's 67. The Cavs were also out paced in ground balls, 46-19. The team is now off for Easter break and will be back on the field on 4/12 for the very first Men's Lacrosse Rivalry Game vs Malone.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Ty Pilkington led the Maroon and Gold offense, connecting with the net three times.
• Colby Bowman helped on the offensive end, with one goal and two assists. 
• Hudson Dennill and Evan Stertz each scored a goal. 
• Alex Movshin was in goal. He recorded 20 saves and six ground balls.
