AVON, OH: On Wednesday, the Cavaliers traveled to Mercy Health Stadium to face the Notre Dame College Falcons in a non conference match up. The Cavs hosted NDC, previously, on March 30th, and won 15-4. The outcome wasn't much different this time as the Maroon and Gold once again came out victorious, 11-5. A five run fourth inning for Walsh and a scoreless final three innings for NDC proved to be the difference maker as the Cavs would add the win to their record. Looking ahead, the Cavs will get back into conference play in Hillsdale, Michigan on 4/23 and 4/24.

FOR THE CAVS:

• Cam Hollobaugh led the Cavs on offense with four hits. He also added four RBI's. His game included two doubles. 
• Brodey Acres was a presence at the plate. He was 2/4 with three RBI's and a walk. 
• Shea Simmer was 2/3 with two RBI's. 
• Chip Gottschalk started on the mound. He pitched three innings, walking two and striking out three. 
• Marshall Shepherd would secure the win. He pitched two innings and allowed zero hits or zero runs scored. He moves to 2-0 on the year.
