FINDLAY, OH: For years, the Maroon and Gold would defeat Findlay at home but could never get it done on the road. That road losing streak ended today, as the Walsh Women's Lacrosse team defeated Findlay, in Findlay, 15-8. Just nine days ago, the Cavs beat Findlay, 13-8, in a scrappy contest on Larry Staudt Field. Today was no different. In an intense first quarter, the Cavs found themselves down one goal. The second quarter was an offensive clinic as Walsh outscored Findlay, 6-1. A five to two, Cavalier favored, second half would secure the victory for the away team. The Women still lead the G-MAC and will continue conference play in Tiffin on Sunday.
