HILLSDALE, MI: It had been five years since the Cavaliers last beat Hillsdale. The drought ended on Sunday when the Maroon and Gold split the two game series with the Chargers. Neither contest was very dramatic as lots of small ball was played, especially in game one. The Chargers took the first contest 2-0. The offense in game two heated up as
Sarah Moats had two RBI's, scored on a passed ball, and reached on a fielders choice. While reaching, thanks to Charger errors,
Sydney McKeever was able to get home. In the game two win,
Sara Gockenbach continued her dominance going all seven innings and recording eight strike outs. The Maroon and Gold look to keep the wins coming as they hit the road to face Cedarville and Ohio Dominican on 4/4 and 4/5.
