NORTH CANTON, OH: Saturday was very meaningful for the Cavalier Men's Lacrosse team. Not only did they celebrate their five seniors, but they also won their last home game in dominating fashion to earn a berth to the Great Midwest Men's Lacrosse Tournament. The Maroon and Gold secured the fourth seed and will play first seeded, Seton Hill, on Wednesday, May 3rd, at 12pm. The semifinal game will be played in Greensburg, PA. 
In the contest vs the Battlers, the Cav defense held Alderson Broaddus to three total goals, allowing only one in each quarter, and none in the first. Senior, Evan Stertz tied the school record, set earlier this season, with most goals in a game. He had seven goals in the game.

FOR THE CAVS

• Evan Stertz led the Cavs with seven goals.
• Tosh Pazuik had four points in the contest with three goals and one assist. 
• Joseph Rush and James Sternberg were dominant in face-offs. Rush was 11-13 and Sternberg was 9-11. 
• Issac Stertz led the team in ground balls with eight.
