NORTH CANTON, OH: The Women's Lacrosse team secured their third conference championship in a row, winning 9-8 over the University of Findlay Oilers. In a game that looked like the Cavs from the first draw, the Maroon and Gold held off a late Oilers charge. The game was tied 7-7 in the middle of the fourth but two goals from
Chloe Tatlow and
Lindsay Hindman would give the Cavs the lead and earn the victory.
Kathleen Mendenhall had a dominating performance with 17 saves and earned tournament MVP.
