FROSTBURG, MD: The Cavalier Volleyball team got off to a hot start in Maryland this weekend at Frostburg State. Going 4-0 and only dropping one set, the Maroon and Gold dominated, nearly sweeping the competition. Strong weekend performances by Arora Levengood, Keanna Avery, and Aaliyah Couch helped in the domination. 

Up next, the Cavs will host the Hall of Fame City Challenge in the Cecchini Center, this Friday and Saturday. They will face regional competition including Slippery Rock, Fairmont State, Seton Hill, and Mercyhurst.

• Keanna Avery tallied 10 kills, 7 blocks, 6 assists, and one assist. 
• Sydney Dixon added 11 digs, 6 kills, and two aces.
• Aaliyah Couch started her career in forceful fashion with 27 assists and four blocks.
• Grace Lindquist had eight blocks and six kills.

• Sammie DiBease had a strong showing with eight kills, four digs, and four aces. 
• Caroline Diels was in the action, having 19 assists, which led the match.
• Arora Levengood notched 13 digs.

• Arora Levengood led the Cavs with 15 digs and two assists. 
• Aaliyah Couch had another solid performance with 23 assists.

• After dropping the first set, the Maroon came out in sets 2, 3, and 4 with a vengeance.
