NORTH CANTON, OH: The young Walsh Women's Basketball team has experienced some growing pains this season, but today, everything clicked as they picked up their 4th win of the season. In a quick turnaround, facing Ohio Dominican for the 2nd time in seven days, the Maroon and Gold avenged their eight point loss from just a week ago.
Down by as much as 10 mid 2nd quarter, the Cavs made a run to finish the period down, 35-33. Coming out of the break, Alycia Tripplet and
Kiley Dyrlund took over. Walsh outscored the Panthers 25-16 in the 3rd to help their winning cause. In the quarter, they shot 58.82% from the floor.Â
50 total fouls were called in the game, allowing for many free throw opportunities. The Women capitalized, going 22-31 from the charity stripe.Â
In their second highest scoring game of the year, four Cavaliers were in double figures. Leading the offense was sophomore,
Kiley Dyrlund, with 28. This was her collegiate career high. Dyrlund also had 8 rebounds, tieing her season high in rebounds in a game.Â
Walsh will have the week off but then return to Alumni Arena next Saturday as they host Ursuline College at 1pm.Â

- Alycia Triplett had another consistent performance with 15 points and seven rebounds.
