MAROON AND GOLD DOMINATE IN WIN OVER URSULINE

NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Women's Basketball team earned their 2nd win in a row this afternoon, in dominating fashion, as they beat the Ursuline Arrows, by 20 points. Currently in 2nd place, the Arrows only had one loss in the G-MAC. In today's powerful efforts, the Cavs avenged their previous 10 point loss to Ursuline on January 4th.

From the tip off, the Cavs were on a mission. With aggressive defense and efficient offense, the Women never trailed. In the first two quarters, Walsh shot 55% from the field and made seven 3 pointers.

Leading the G-MAC in steals and blocks, the Cavaliers forced 25 turnovers, turning that into 27 points. They also had 6 blocks, collectively.

The Maroon and Gold will hit the road the next three games with important match-ups at Thomas More, Kentucky Wesleyan, and Findlay. With 11 games remaining, the Women are in 11th place in the conference. The top eight make the conference postseason tournament.
