GENEVA, OH: Walsh Track and Field was back in action this weekend at the Spire Institute Midwest Invitational. Both the men's and women's teams did extremely well after the winter break with multiple top finishes for both teams. On the men's side, Mitchell Dunham, Micah Gremling, and Dominic Nutter led the charge. On the women's side Kya Epps, Alyssa Stoner, and Claire Martin ran well coming off the break. With the rest of the season lining up, the team looks to continue their momentum.

Both Men's and Women's teams will compete at Hillsdale this weekend along with a small group at Kent State.

This weekend's top performances include:

For the Women

· Kya Epps- finished 1st in both the 200m and 60m dash. Her times were 25.41s and 7.60s, which was a Provo mark.

· Julie White- PR'd and finished 3rd in the 600m run. Her time was 1:39.91.

· Claire Rethman- PR'd and finished 2nd in the Mile. Her time was 5:05.57.

· Camryn Barker- PR'd and finished 2nd in the 3k. Her time was 10:18.53.

· Alyssa Stoner- PR'd and finished 1st in the 5k. Her time was 18:18.02.

· Izzy Rammel- Finished 2nd in the 5k. Her time was 18:20.40

· Bailey Menegay- PR'd and finished 5th in the 5k. Her time was 18:54.21.

· Toni Denmark- Finished 2nd in High Jump. Her jump measure 1.58m or 5'2.25".

· Claire Martin- Finished 2nd in Triple Jump. Her jump was 11.31m or 37'1.25".

· Tatum Miller- Finished 4th in Shotput. Her throw was 12.04m or 39'6".

For the Men

· Micah Gremling- Finished 1st in the 60m dash. His time was 6.85s, which is a Provo mark.

· Mitchel Dunham- Finished 5th in the 3k. His time was 10:50.68.

· Kyle Woods- PR'd and finished 4th in the 5k. His time was 15:23.16.

· Theo Papas- PR'd and finished 5th in the 5k. His time was 15.25.73.

· Cameron Beverly- Finished 2nd in High jump. His jump was 2.01m or 6'7".

· Dominic Nutter- Finished 2nd in Weight Throw. His throw was 18.65m or 61'2.25", which is a Provo mark.

· Colton Ferrucci- Finished 4th in Weight Throw. His throw was 17.43m or 57'2.25"
