OWENSBORO, KY: The Walsh men took on The Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers in Owensboro, Kentucky on Saturday. They entered the game on an 8-game win streak and in third place in the G-MAC standings. The Cavs lost to the Panthers by 7 points earlier this year in Alumni Arena.

KWC opened the game strong, hitting multiple shots from beyond the arc, while the Cavaliers offense struggled. This resulted in the Cavs going down 20-8 with 12:25 left in the first half.
Garrison Keeslar would keep Walsh in the game, scoring 18 points in the first half while adding 5 rebounds. No other Cavalier player scored more than 4 points during the half. At the break, The Panthers held a 9 point advantage with a score of 39-30.

It would be a slow comeback in the second half by the Cavs.
Garrison Keeslar continued to lead the offense, scoring 17 more points. He finished the game with 35 which is a season high, and it ties his career high.
Zack Oddo added 11 points in the half and
Kobe Mitchell scored 12. With 9 seconds left, Walsh had the ball only down 2 when a missed three would seal the game for Kentucky Wesleyan.

After the 81-77 loss in Kentucky, Walsh will try to rebound next Saturday when they travel to Findlay to take on the Oilers at 3 PM.
