Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

CAVS GET BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN

FINDLAY, OH: The Cavalier men traveled to Findlay to take on the Oilers after being out of action for the last week. Coming off a tough 81-77 loss to Kentucky Wesleyan last Saturday, the Cavs were ready to roll when the game tipped-off this Saturday.

Walsh shot the ball incredibly efficiently from beyond the arc in the first half, making 9 of 14 attempts while the Oilers only made 4 of 13 attempts. This lights out shooting allowed the Cavs to jump out to a commanding lead, going up by as much as 26 at one point. By the end of the period Walsh held a 50-27 advantage and they would not look back.

Junior Logan Murray had a big second half, scoring 16 of his career-high 24 points during the half. He would only miss two shots for the entire afternoon, shooting 9-11 from the field and 5-6 from three. Three other Cavaliers finished the game in double figures as they walked away with a 25 point win with a final score of 89-64.

Walsh will try to keep the momentum going as they head back home for a game against Hillsdale College on Thursday, February 8th. This game tips-off at 7:30 PM in Alumni Arena.
