NORTH CANTON, OH: The Maroon and Gold of Walsh Women's Soccer picked up their third conference win, yesterday, on Senior Night! Pregame included honoring the five Seniors and led to a tight battle between Walsh and Kentucky Wesleyan, on Larry Staudt Field. As the scoreboard showed zeros after 45 minutes, the Cavs came out in the second half with a scoring vengeance.
Hannah Stein scored two and
Jamie Duskey scored one as the team earned their 6th win of the season. The offensive efforts were clearly more of a focus as the Cavs had 15 shots in the second half compared to 2 in the first.
The Women's next game will be on Larry Staudt Field, against nationally ranked, Ashland, on 10/12.
