NORTH CANTON, OH - The Walsh University Cavaliers battled hard but fell short against the Hillsdale College Chargers, losing 79-55 in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) matchup at Alumni Arena on December 14th.
The game was dominated by Hillsdale from the start, with the Chargers building a commanding 40-27 halftime lead. They continued their strong performance in the second half, outscoring Walsh 39-28 and securing a decisive victory.
Ayden Carter led Walsh with 18 points, shooting 6-of-14 from the field and adding 1 rebound.
Kobe Mitchell provided additional support with 16 points, while
Zack Oddo contributed 7 points and 7 rebounds.
For Hillsdale, Joe Reuter was the standout performer with 14 points, and Eric Radisevic added 13 points. The Chargers' balanced attack and efficient shooting (64% from the field) proved too much for Walsh to overcome.
