NORTH CANTON, OH - The Walsh University Cavaliers put on an impressive offensive display, defeating the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats 102-80 in a non-conference matchup at Alumni Arena on December 17th. This victory improved Walsh's record to 4-4 overall, while West Virginia Wesleyan fell to 2-10 overall.
The Cavaliers came out strong, establishing a commanding 57-37 lead by halftime. They maintained their momentum in the second half, outscoring the Bobcats 45-43 to secure the decisive win.
Kobe Mitchell led Walsh with a game-high 30 points, shooting an efficient 8-of-11 from the field and hitting 6-of-9 from three-point range.
Ayden Carter also had a standout performance, contributing 22 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.
Kaleb Schaffer added 12 points and provided solid playmaking with 4 assists.
