NORTH CANTON, OH: The second game of the season was a tough task for Cavalier Women's Lacrosse as they hosted the #13 team in the country, the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds. The scoring started early and then was often for both teams in the first quarter. UIndy scored a minute and seven seconds into the game. Throughout the first quarter, the Cavs kept the game close, down just 2 goals, 5-3. It quickly became all Greyhounds as the visiting team scored 10 unanswered goals. The Cavs would go on to only connect on one additional goal in the fourth quarter. 

The Women will have six days off until they travel to Rochester, New York to face Roberts Wesleyan University on 3/2. The game is set to start at 12pm.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Kaytlyn Tokar led the Cavalier offense, scoring two goals.
• Mallory Miller caused two turnovers, had two ground balls, and controlled five draws. 
• Walsh was out shot, 30-14. UIndy also caused 16 Cavalier turnovers.
