NORTH CANTON, OH: Walsh entered Thursday's contest against Lake Erie ranked 6
th in the recent NCAA Regional Rankings. They are also 2
nd in the G-MAC standings with only a few games left in the regular season.

The first half of action in Alumni Arena was a three point shootout, with both teams shooting above 50% from beyond the arc. Lake Erie jumped out to a sizeable lead early in the half, led by Leon Hughes who scored a game-high 27 points for the game. Walsh climbed back to cut the lead to just 6 at halftime.

Lake Erie went on a quick run to start the second half and took a 13 point lead with 15:51 remaining. The Cavs clawed back with the help of some excellent 3-point shooting from
Kobe Mitchell. Mitchell would finish with a season-high 26 points while he shot 8-12 from three. Ultimately, the Cavs would close it out late and come away with a 74-70 victory.

The Cavs will play again on Senior Day in Alumni Arena on Saturday with tip-off set for 3:00 PM.
