NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Men's Basketball team wrapped up the regular season today, with Senior Day, against Cedarville. Two seniors,
Nic Smith and
Jacob Hougan, were honored before the game. In the dominating win and with the Kentucky Wesleyan loss, the Cavs were named G-MAC Regular Season Co-Champions for the third year in a row!Â

The Cavs jumped out to a quick lead in the first seven minutes, led by
Kobe Mitchell and
Garrison Keeslar. The hot 3-point shooting from the previous game continued as Walsh shot 42.86% for the half. By the halftime break, Walsh opened a 10 point lead with a score of 33-23.

Keeslar and Mitchell continued to play well in the second half, with Keeslar finishing with a game-high 29 points and Mitchell finishing with 24. With ten minutes remaining in the game, Walsh was up 61-41 with no signs of letting up. They would go on to seal the 76-60 victory and close out the regular season on a high note.

The Cavs will look to ride this momentum into post-season play as they host the quarterfinal matchup of the G-MAC tournament. They earned the #2 seed in the conference and will welcome #7 Trevecca Nazarene, to Alumni Arena on Tuesday, March 5
th at 6 PM.Â
