CAVS GEAR UP FOR TRIP OUT WEST

GREENSBURG, PA: Cavalier Baseball was back on the diamond this past Monday with a doubleheader against perennial powerhouse, Seton Hill. The Cavaliers split the series losing Game 1 but snatching Game 2 with a 7-6 win. Seton Hill managed to hold the Cavalier offense to just 3 hits and 1 run in the first game while putting up 9 hits of their own and scoring 4 runs.

In Game 2 was a different story. Walsh had a huge 5th inning where they put up 7 runs thanks to many hitters. Holding Seton Hill was no small task, but pitchers, Alex Beyerle, Todd Bangtson, and Martin Polonkay were able to shut down Seton Hill's offense to secure the win, 7-6.

With Spring Break on the horizon, the Maroon and Gold will travel west to Tucson, Arizona to play seven games over the break. They are set to play Adams State, Concordia University St. Paul, Southwest Minnesota State University, Saginaw Valley State University, and Sul Ross State.
