TUCSON, AZ AND AVON, OH: The Cavalier Baseball team had a successful showing out west last week as they traveled to Tucson, Arizona for six games. Having one game rained out, Walsh finished the week 4-2. The team faced competition from all over the country including Adams State, Concordia University St. Paul, Southwest Minnesota State, and Saginaw Valley. The strong play continued yesterday as Walsh played their first Ohio game of the season, dominating Notre Dame College, 28-4. In the offensive explosion, the Cavs had 25 hits including four home runs and a grand slam from
Davis Burick in the 7th inning.
The Maroon and Gold will open up G-MAC play this weekend in a home series vs the Ohio Dominican Panthers. First pitch is scheduled for Saturday at 1pm.

- Walsh overcame being out hit to secure a 6-5 win in their first game in Arizona.
- Alex Beyerle started on the mound going six innings and striking out six.
- Brady Maciak and Mason Stoldt each had two hits with Stoldt adding two RBI's

- The duo of Justin Malloy and Noah Sample propelled the Cavs to victory on the mound. Malloy only allowed two runs in 5 innings, earning the win. Sample mowed down seven, getting the save.
- Cam Hollobaugh was 2 for 5 with a 2 RBI home run in the 3rd inning.
- Benny Hymes IV would add two hits for the Cavs.

- Cam Hollobaugh was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles, also scoring the lone run for Walsh.
- Jax Miller also went 3 for 3 with an RBI double in the 4th inning.

- Walsh pieced two runs together in the final innings to wrap up the Arizona trip.
- Brady Maciak had and RBI single in the 8th and Jax Miller hit a go ahead home run to secure the win.
- Mason Stoldt highlighted the Cavs offense with three hits.
- Nick Lallathin earned his third win of the season, striking out nine in seven innings pitched.
