NORTH CANTON, OH: Walsh Women's Lacrosse pulled out a close win over the Quincy University Hawks on Monday evening. Quincy came out strong, scoring five goals in the first quarter, taking a 5-3 lead. They took a two goal lead into the half, 7-5. Down two at the break the Cavs came out firing on all cylinders, scoring five goals in the third quarter to take a 10-9 lead into the final period. Thanks to an early goal by
Sidney Klinger at the 12:40 mark and a goal from
Isabella Kelty at the 6:47 mark, the Cavs secured the win over the visitors.

Mallory Miller earned G-MAC Women's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for her dominant efforts over the Ursuline Arrows last Friday!
The Maroon and Gold will have a quick turnaround as they host Concordia University, St. Paul, on Larry Staudt Field, Thursday at 5pm.
