NORTH CANTON AND SOUTH EUCLID, OH: Lacrosse season is in full swing as the Cavs played two games in three days! On Thursday, they hosted Concordia University St. Paul and today, traveled to Notre Dame College, both nonconference match ups.
In the 11 point victory over the Golden Bears, the Cavs scored four or more goals in three out of four quarters. Walsh had to battle back as Concordia struck first making in 2-0. Walsh then kicked it in to gear, going on a 13-0 run with the Golden Bears not having an answer. Six different Cavs scored in the win.
On Saturday, Walsh was defeated on the road against the Notre Dame College Falcons. Playing catch up most the game, the Falcons had the edge for most of the game. The Women got within one goal with 1:36 but the Falcons walked away with the win.
The Cavaliers will return to G-MAC play on Tuesday at 4pm as they host Lake Erie College on Larry Staudt Field.
