NORTH CANTON, OH: Walsh Men's Lacrosse is off to a hot start in conference play as they defeated Wheeling on Saturday, 9-6. Earlier defeating Tiffin, the Cavs are 2-0 in G-MAC play. In an even matched first quarter, the Maroon and Gold broke the game open in the second, scoring four goals. In the goal, Alex Movshin had a great game with 14 total saves in the close win. Offensively, Colby Bowman, completed the hat trick with three goals on six total shots. 

In the week ahead, conference play continues as the Cavs will travel to Lake Erie on Tuesday at 7pm. They will then host Mercyhurst on Larry Staudt Field next Saturday.

FOR THE CAVS 

• Colby Bowman led the Cavs with three goals. 
• Also scoring for was Adam Tinline, Ty Pilkington, Hudson Dennill, John Kortowich, James Sternberg, and Nick Hauenstein. 
• Joseph Rush was 12-19 on face offs and had the team high, 11 ground balls. 
• Alex Movshin earned his second win of the season in the net with 14 key saves.
