NORTH CANTON, OH: On Friday night, the Cavaliers welcomed the 7-2, Northern Michigan Wildcats, to Larry Staudt Field. In the gloomy, spring weather, the Maroon and Gold went neck and neck with the GLIAC school. Up 5-4 at the break, the short handed Walsh defense gave up four goals as NMU opened up the game. In the loss, sophomore goalie, Rebekah Bargeron was solid in the net as she racked up 19 saves. 

Walsh will look to bounce back at the University of Findlay next Wednesday in a key G-MAC rivalry game.

FOR THE CAVS 

• In all 60 minutes, Rebekah Bargeron tallied 19 total saves. 
• Rachel Black had 5 points on 2 goals and 3 assists. 
• Kaytlyn Tokar added 2 goals as Isabella Kelty and Olivia Price each added 1.
• Mallory Miller and Sarah Shephard were strong on the defensive end. Miller had 4 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls. Shephard had 2 caused turnovers and 3 ground balls.
