ALLENDALE, MI AND NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Women's Lacrosse team played two games in the past 3 days. On Friday, the Maroon and Gold traveled to Grand Valley State University in a tough regional match up vs the Lakers. The Cavs ended up falling, 11-3. They bounced back against Tiffin on Sunday, defeating the Dragons, 18-4. The stong game by Walsh came on Senior Day. The senior class honored has won 3 G-MAC Championships and will earn the 1st seed in this years tournament. Although it was Senior Day, Junior, Katie Coomes got in on the fun, scoring 6 goals on the day. She ended with 7 points. 

The Women have one more regular season game this season. They will travel down the road to Malone University for the first ever Walsh/Malone Women's Lacrosse match up. The game is set for next Saturday at 1pm.

• Off the sideline, freshman, Maria Purcell had 2 assists. 
• Kathleen Mendenhall had 6 saves in her win. 
• Katie Coomes led the team in draw controls, securing 5.
