NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavs played back-to-back home games on Tuesday and Wednesday. First against Wheeling University and then against Notre Dame College.

Pitching was sharp in the game against Wheeling. Walsh had 4 pitchers make appearances during the game and not one of them gave up a run. A 6-run 5
th inning, which was kickstarted by a couple of walks, allowed the Maroon and Gold to take a commanding lead. Ultimately, Walsh would go on to win by a final of 8-0.

Wednesday's game against Notre Dame was tight into the later part of the game.
Cam Hollobaugh hit a 2-run homer in the 3
rd to give Walsh their first lead of the game and then
Grant Blomeke hit a solo homerun in the 8
th to give them the cushion that they needed.
Zach Thompson closed it out in the 9
th to pick up his 3
rd save of the year and give the Cavs an 8-5 victory.
Walsh will travel to Findlay on Saturday to start a four game series against the Oilers. The first pitch on Saturday is set for 1PM.
