GREENSBURG, PA: The Cavaliers of Men's Lacrosse had an uphill battle as they faced the #17 team in the country. An associate member in the G-MAC, Seton Hill, downed Walsh, 19-6. The Griffins came in the second best team in the conference, with Mercyhurst, another top program, leading the way.
The Maroon and Gold had a tough start as the offense couldn't quite get going. Seton Hill outscored the Cavs, 6-0 in the first quarter. A four goal second quarter cut the deficit in half but the home team overpowered.
The postseason is next up for Walsh! The G-MAC tournament begins on Saturday, April, 27th! Seeding is to be determined as the rest of the league still has games to play. Currently, the Cavs are tied for 4th place.
