NORTH CANTON, OH: On April 23rd, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced their 2024 Hall of Fame Class! Headlining the inductees in Sarah (Berger) Winkler, former Cross Country and Track and Field star. The G-MAC will honor the class of inductees on May 21st in Blue Ash, Ohio. 

In the four years wearing the Maroon and Gold, Sarah earned many accolades in the conference, region, and nation. Topping the awards was her National Championship in the 1500m in 2018. Along with the National Championship, in 2018, she was named Midwest Cross Country Runner of the Year and Midwest Female Track Athlete of the Year, and earned the G-MAC Highest Honor as the Female Collegiate Achievement Award Winner!

In her career, she was a 10 time All-American, 9 time National Championship qualifier, 6 time USTFCCCA All-Academic, and 5 time Great Midwest Champion. She also still holds school records in the 1500m, mile, 5000m, 4x400 relay, distance medley relay, steeplechase, and 3200m relay.
