NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Cavaliers Women's Cross Country program has qualified for the 2025 NCAA DII National Championship Meet. After an exciting year, led by senior, Claire Rethman, Walsh will head to Kenosha, Wisconsin on November 22nd. 

The Cavaliers have had a very successful season as they won one race, at Lockhaven and finished conference runner-up to Cedarville. Also during the course of the year, the team was ranked as high as 10th in the country in the USTFCCCA rankings. They finished 5th at the NCAA Regionals this past weekend, running well enough to secure their spot. 

This is the teams first time qualifying since 2021. Previously, they qualified four times in a row from 2017-2021. The 2020 race was not held due to COVID.
