KENOSHA, WI: The Cavaliers Women's Cross Country team competed at the DII NCAA National Championships this past Saturday. The #21 ranked team in the country had a strong fall which prepared them for this earned race. Hosted by University of Wisconsin Parkside, the Cavs took confidence into the race as the Midwest Regional was hosted at the same course two weeks ago.
Senior,
Claire Rethman, continued her dominance as she once again performed at the very highest level. Rethman, who was also G-MAC Runner Up finished 3rd individually with a 6k time of 20:21.3. Her podium finish earned her All-American honors. Claire's strong race was just 10 seconds behind the National Champion.
The team finished in 27th place out of 34 teams. Conference rival, Cedarville ended their fall in 7th place.
