BASEBALL LOSES SERIES AGAINST TIFFIN; FALL AGAIN TO GANNON

TIFFIN AND NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers played 4 games in Tiffin over the weekend followed by a home game against Gannon University on Tuesday.
The first two games in Tiffin on Saturday resulted in Maroon and Gold losses. The next two games on Sunday were split with the Cavaliers winning the first by a score of 10-7. During this game, Jax Miller, Andrew Morse, Eli Sutton, and Benny Hymes IV all hit homers. Pitcher Brandon Cahill got the win after pitching the final two innings and allowing no earned runs.
Walsh would drop another game on Tuesday against Gannon after a 12-run 6th inning put the game out of reach. The Cavs did end up scoring 10 runs in the game, but it would not be enough to overcome the offensive surge from the Golden Knights.
The Cavaliers will look to rebound later this week as they take on Hillsdale College in a 4 game series that begins on Thursday. They will play two doubleheaders on Thursday and Friday with Thursday's games set to start at 1PM and 4PM and Friday at 12PM and 3PM.
