NASHVILLE, TN: Softball went on a weekend road trip that started on Saturday with a double header against Trevecca Nazarene. In the first game, Trevecca jumped out to an early 3-0 lead thanks to two home runs. Walsh would score one run in the 3
rd inning but ultimately, they would lose the first game by a final score of 6-1.
The second game went back and forth with the Cavaliers going up 5-1 in the 4
th inning after a
Sarah Moats double that drove in 2 runs. Trevecca tied the game up in the bottom of the 7
th, scoring four runs and then went on to win with a walk-off single in the 9
th inning.

- Chloe Sayre came in to pitch in relief and went 5.1 innings with 3 strikeouts.
- Riley Grimm went 1-2 with a double and a walk.

OWENSBORO, KY: Sunday, the Cavs traveled to Owensboro to take on Kentucky Wesleyan in another double header. In the first game, Walsh was able to produce 11 total hits which turned into 6 runs.
Lindsey Leeds pitched 5 solid innings that would eventually lead to a 6-4 Cavalier victory.

In game 2 the Cavs scored 3 runs in the first inning to give them the early lead. The Panthers score 4 runs in the bottom of the 7
th inning with the help of 2 doubles that tied the game up at 7. In the 8
th, 2 singles by
McKenna Voiers and Bryn Elliot gave Walsh a 9-7 lead which would end up being the final score.
FOR THE CAVS IN GAME 1
- Lindsey Leeds picked up her first win of the year after coming in for 5 innings of action.
- Sydney McKeever had three hits and scored all three times.
