NORTH CANTON, OH: Walsh was back at home for a Tuesday doubleheader against Davis & Elkins.

In game 1, Walsh gave up the first run of the game in the third inning but then tied it up shortly after with a Sarah Cantley single that drove in 1 run. A 3-run 5^th inning gave the Cavs the lead. Kaylee Nolte hit a two-run home run to left center during the inning. Davis & Elkins score one run in the 7^th but it would not be enough as Walsh would win 4-3.

In game 2, Delaney Peters started for Walsh and would go 5.1 innings and only allow 1 run. She also struck out 6 batters and only gave up 1 walk. This time, a 2-run 6^th inning put Walsh ahead by a score of 2-1. They would go on to close it out and Maci Smythe picked up the win in relief.

Walsh will travel to Wheeling, WV on Wednesday for a double header against Wheeling University. The games will start at 3 and 5 PM.
