WALSH TAKES CARE OF RIVAL MALONE

CANTON, OH: The Cavs travelled down the road to Canton to take on the rival Malone Pioneers on Tuesday. The warm weather was a sign of good things to come for Walsh offensively.

In the 1st inning, Brady Maciak homered to right field to give the Cavs a 1-0 lead and they would never look back. Cam Hollobaugh hit an RBI double in the 3rd which was followed by an RBI single from Benny Hymes IV. This gave Walsh a 4-0 lead. By the 6th inning, the lead had grown to 7-2 after a Brodey Acres single that drove in 2 more runs. Walsh added 4 more runs in the final three innings that would allow them to secure an 11-5 victory.
