CANTON, OH: The Cavs travelled down the road to Canton to take on the rival Malone Pioneers on Tuesday. The warm weather was a sign of good things to come for Walsh offensively.

In the 1
st inning,
Brady Maciak homered to right field to give the Cavs a 1-0 lead and they would never look back.
Cam Hollobaugh hit an RBI double in the 3
rd which was followed by an RBI single from
Benny Hymes IV. This gave Walsh a 4-0 lead. By the 6
th inning, the lead had grown to 7-2 after a
Brodey Acres single that drove in 2 more runs. Walsh added 4 more runs in the final three innings that would allow them to secure an 11-5 victory.
Todd Bangtson was the winning pitcher after he threw 2.1 scoreless innings. Â
Walsh will return to Biery Stadium on Friday, April 12th to start a series against Northwood University. First pitch is set for 3pm.Â
