NORTH CANTON, OH: The 2024 Walsh Women's Soccer team is off to a 2-0 start as they secured two home wins on Saturday and Monday! In the season opener, the Cavaliers hosted PSAC member, Clarion. Walsh finished the match with 3 goals, 21 shots, nearly 50% of them on target. Clarion came up with 10 shots, 6 of them on goal. In the 2nd game of the season, the Cavaliers hosted the Point Park Pioneers. Connecting on goals on each half, the Maroon and Gold dominated the ball, totaling 15 shots, and 10 corner kicks. 

The Cavs return to Larry Staudt Field on Saturday, September 14th, vs Roberts Wesleyan. Kick off is at 5pm.

• Graduate Student, Hannah Stein, led the team with two goals in the first half.
• Katie Corrigan would follow, scoring her goal towards the end of the second half. 
• Ramsey Smith added to the match with two assists, one to each scorer.
• Keeper, O'Malley Quinlan finished the day with 4 on target saves.
