CAVS IMPROVE TO 3-0 ON THE YEAR

NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh University women's soccer team improved their record to 3-0 with a 4-1 victory over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday, September 14th, at Larry Staudt Field. The Cavaliers took control early, scoring three goals in the first half.

Jamie Duskey opened the scoring just two minutes into the match, followed by Katie Corrigan in the 8th minute, assisted by Kailey Hobart. Kate Young added a third goal in the 36th minute with an assist from Hannah Stein. Although Roberts Wesleyan scored early in the second half, Duskey responded with her second goal in the 54th minute to secure the win. Walsh outshot Roberts Wesleyan 18-3.

The Cavs will look to extend their winning streak on Thursday, September 19th, against Ohio Dominican University. Kick-off is set for 5:00 PM.
