NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavs opened up G-MAC play against Lake Erie in a game that proved to be a battle between the two teams. In a very even match that saw the Cavs register 10 shots to Lake Erie's 9, neither team was able to convert their opportunities. Lake Erie scored in the 80th minute against a 10-man Walsh side, after losing a player to a red card just about 10 minutes before. This game was a brutal fight for both sides with a total of 18 fouls and six cards. The Cavs will return to Larry Staudt Field, against Ashland, on Saturday, September 21st at 7 P.M. Walsh will look to grab their first win in conference play and snatch all three points against the Eagles.
