AMHERST, NY: The Maroon and Gold finished out their weekend in New York with a match up against Daemen University. After a slow start to the game, which saw the Cavs concede two goals in the opening 16 minutes of play, they began to crawl their way back on the offensive end, out-shooting Daemen 25-4 on the day. Although Bobby Moore led the Cavs with 5 shots and produced the Cavs first goal of the season from a free kick, it unfortunately was not enough as the match ended 2-1 in favor of Daemen. The Cavs return home to Larry Staudt Field for their home opener on Wednesday, September 11th, at 7 P.M. The Cavs will be searching for their first win of the season against Slippery Rock.
