NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers faced a familiar opponent on Saturday. Just a week ago, Walsh was in Owensboro facing Kentucky Wesleyan. Seven days later, the two G-MAC members faced off again. A quick turnaround required a short memory as Walsh beat KWC last week. Today, the script flipped as the Panthers pulled out the road victory inside Alumni Arena.
In a game that saw 10 lead changes, both squads had its share of highs and lows. As the game went down the stretch, a 3 and clutch free throws from the Panthers sealed the victory. With six seconds lefts, the Cavs had possession but could not convert any points in the possession.
The Women will travel North next weekend, facing Hillsdale and Northwood.
LOCATION: Alumni Arena
