CHARGERS TOP CAVALIERS ON THE ROAD

HILLSDALE, MI - The Walsh University Cavaliers fell short in a hard-fought battle against the Hillsdale College Chargers, losing 75-64 in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference matchup at Dawn Tibbetts Potter Arena. This loss dropped Walsh's record to 6-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play, while Hillsdale improved to 15-2 overall and 9-0 in the G-MAC.

The Cavaliers kept the game close in the first half, trailing by just two points at halftime with a score of 37-35. However, Hillsdale pulled away in the second half, outscoring Walsh 38-29 to secure the victory.

Kobe Mitchell also had a strong performance, contributing 16 points in 38 minutes of play. Walsh was outrebounded 36-25, with Hillsdale's Joe Reuter grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds.

Despite shooting a solid 49.0% from the field and 80.0% from the free-throw line, the Cavaliers struggled to contain Hillsdale's balanced attack. The Chargers had four players score in double figures, led by Mikey McCollum's 18 points off the bench.
