NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh Women's Soccer team welcomed the Yellow Jackets from Cedarville University to Larry Staudt Field on Thursday night. Scoring opened up for Cedarville in the 34th minute, before adding a second goal in the 52nd minute. The Cavs did not give up, however. Jamie Duskey connected with the back of the net for the Cavs in the 82nd minute, keeping the last eight minutes interesting. Unfortunately, it was not enough as the game finished 2-1 in favor of Cedarville. The Yellow Jackets out shot the Cavs 21 to 5 while having 12 corner kicks to the Cavs 0.
The Maroon and Gold will travel to Canton, Ohio to face off against the Malone Pioneers at 1 P.M. on Saturday, October 11th.
