NORTH CANTON, OH: The Cavaliers from the Walsh Women's Soccer team suffered a tough home loss on Saturday evening. Looking to bounce back from an early week loss to Findlay, the Maroon and Gold welcomed the Ursuline College Arrows, a team in which they have not lost to since 2021.
The Arrows struck twice in the first half, in the 9th and 24th minute. The two goals were high floaters that snuck just behind Walsh Keeper,
O'Malley Quinlan. It was a game of playing catch up from there as Walsh finally found the back of the net in the 71st minute.
28 Cavalier shots out paced the 11 from the Arrows as the Cavs controlled the tempo most of the time. Stong efforts from the Ursuline Keeper and their defense handed Walsh their second straight loss.
The Maroon and Gold will host Cedarville on Thursday at 4:30pm. This key match up is important for both sides as the 2025 campaign is about half way through.
