INDIANAPOLIS, IN: The Maroon and Gold of Walsh Women's Basketball improved to 3-1 on the season, defeating the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds in overtime. The Thursday afternoon contest was the Cavs first road game of the season.
It was a pretty even battle between the two teams, both scoring 20 and 12 points in the opening quarters. The last 20 minutes also ended all knotted and took overtime for the Cavs to earn the win.

Sami Kim made key buckets in the extra time to give the Maroon and Gold the edge. There were 9 lead changes in the game.
The Women will return home on Saturday as they host Roosevelt University. Tip off is set for 3pm.
