NORTH CANTON, OH: Alumni Arena saw a tightly contested match up Saturday afternoon as Walsh welcomed Roosevelt to campus for their first ever match up. With 14 lead changes overall, the Cavaliers came up just short, falling 61-60.
Walsh jumped out to an 18–14 lead after one, but a tough second quarter where Roosevelt only allowed four points from the Cavs, gave the visitors control heading into halftime. The Cavs shot 47.3% from the floor but struggled from three at 33.3%.
The Maroon and Gold will have some time off as their next contest isn't until November 30th. They will travel to Slippery Rock for a 2pm tip off.
