NORTH CANTON, OH: There was lots of scoring inside Alumni Arena on Friday evening as the Walsh Men's Basketball team beat Kent State Tusc by 49 points. It was never much of a contest as Walsh scored 62 points in the first half. They kept their foot on the gas, scoring 60 points in the second half.
Five Cavs were in double figures as they shot 59.5% from the field. The high percentage shooting performance piggy backed from stifling defensive efforts. Walsh scored 35 fast break points and 44 points off turnovers. 26 turnovers were forced by the Maroon and Gold.
The Men will have their final game of the three game home stand on Monday as they take on Carnegie Mellon at 6pm.
