NORTH CANTON, OH: The Walsh University Women's Basketball team triumphed over Lake Erie with a solid 86-64 scoreline in their latest G-MAC game. The Cavaliers dominated on the court, particularly highlighted by stellar performances from
Emma Dretke and
Izzy Callaway.
Walsh Cavaliers set a commanding tone from the start, with an 8-point lead by the end of the first quarter, eventually expanding that margin as the game progressed. As the half-time whistle blew, the score stood at 36-28, favoring Walsh, marking a promising start against the Lake Erie Storm.
Emma Dretke led with 22 points, including crucial three-pointers that helped maintain Walsh's lead.
