NORTH CANTON, OH: With 4 games in the past week, the Walsh Women's Lacrosse team has been pushed to their limits. Hosting three opponents on Larry Staudt Field, Grand Valley State, Missouri Western State, and Northwood, the Maroon and Gold went 1-2.
Keeping it close vs GVSU, almost completing the comeback against Missouri Western State, the Cavs saw the hard times pay off as G-MAC play opened against Northwood for the lone victory in the home stand.
A mix of young and experienced Cavaliers will now look to build on their momentum as they host the University of Findlay Oilers on Saturday in what may be the most important game of the regular season. 8 Walsh seniors will also be celebrated pregame!
The Cavaliers are currently 3-7 and 1-0 in the G-MAC.
