NORTH CANTON, OH: On Friday, June 20th, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced the 2024-2025 Academic All-Conference team. With over 3,000 Student-Athletes honored across the league, Walsh saw a record number of Cavaliers on the list, with 326 Student-Athletes. The number increased by 28 Cavs from the year previous. 

To be named to the Academic All-Conference team, the Student-Athlete's grade point average must be a minimum of 3.3 based on a 4.0 scale. The GPA shall be cumulative for the Student-Athlete's entire collegiate career to date and the Student-Athlete must have completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution. Student-Athlete's GPA's reported by each institution were reflected through the spring semester.

Walsh had the 3rd highest Student-Athletes honored, behind Findlay and Tiffin. 

Strong academics were reflected this school year as 6 Walsh Cavaliers earned Elite 26 honors, by the G-MAC. These 6 Cavs had the highest GPA in their respective sports, across the league.
